Industrial Mechanic / Millwright

Our Electrical team has over 150 years of combined experience in various fields of electrical service and we are looking for the right individuals to complement our electrical team as industrial mechanics / millwrights to better serve our long list of industrial and manufacturing business partners. Although our services vary, each is considered a specialty and will preserve our high standards and commitment to the customer’s satisfaction.
Each Candidate should possess the following skills at a minimum:
- Be able to read and interpret engineering specifications, schematics, mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals to determine work procedures.
- Be able to work within precise limits or standards of accuracies.
- Be able to dismantle, assemble, install, maintain, troubleshoot, move, relocate, and repair machinery to technical specifications or other technical documents.
- Proficient in fabrication and welding of steel structures, piping, supports, and other parts or pieces required for completion of projects.
- Be able to layout and construct foundations for machines and equipment as required.
- Be proficient in the appropriate use of lifting equipment including rigging of machinery, structures, and other heavy items.
- Be able to fit bearings, align gears and shafts, set and align motors, and align pulleys and belts to precise tolerances.
- Be proficient in the installation of fluid power (hydraulic) systems and components used in these systems including solenoid valves, valves, cylinders, pumps, and motors.
- Be proficient in the installation of pneumatic (air) systems and components used in these systems including solenoid valves, valves, cylinders, motors, and compressors.
Job Duties:
- Supervisory and Management of others and projects.
- Perform duties as part of a team of skilled trade staff.
- Scheduling and planning of mechanical installations.
- Installation of equipment, machinery, and ancillary systems in industrial and manufacturing facilities.
- Adjust and calibrate systems that are being installation or repaired.
- Troubleshooting and Resolution.
- Performs Preventive Maintenance.
- Predictive Maintenance.
- Repairs on Electrical Systems.
- Installation and repair of fluid and pneumatic instrumentation and control systems.
- Comply with all safety standards.
